Hemp is our passion!
Since 2004, we at Hanfland have been growing food hemp in Austria. Our home Hanfthal is already mentioned in documents in 1149 - as the name suggests, hemp has probably always been a valuable commodity in our region.
This is how we treat it today: only the best premium hemp goes into our products grown by predominantly Lower Austrian contract farmers.

Did you know...
...that hemp naturally has a very high content of omega-3 fatty acids? We therefore process our premium hemp seeds in our hulling plant in the Waldviertel only with the utmost care to preserve the valuable ingredients in the best possible way - that's what we call premium quality. The certified organic hemp seeds are available unpeeled, peeled, roasted or ground. We also process them into high-quality hemp oil, hemp flour, protein powder or as snack hemp with a sweet, salty or chocolaty note. Hemp tea made from the finest hemp leaves can also be found in our assortment.
Short transport routes - partners from the region
We at Hanfland are aware of our responsibility towards our environment as well as towards society and our customers. Our hemp seeds come from contract farmers in the region without middlemen. When selecting our partners, we pay attention to the shortest possible transport distances, e.g. our hemp oil is pressed only 10 km away. Thus, we work exclusively with Austrian production partners, be it for the grinding of hemp protein, muesli production, hemp flour grinding, snack hemp roasting or hemp cookie baking.
